ÅhusTurf Hybrid turf for football
Football has been played on hybrid turf for many years now. Now the range of hybrids has increased significantly. ÅhusTurf Hybrid grass offers a solution that has a very strong underside, protecting the root system from above.
The CL 2802 is designed for all levels of football. The height of the straw combined with the hole size and the construction of the holes allows you to get maximum penetration and maximum protection for the grass crown and root system. The uniqueness of ÅhusTurf Hybrid Grass CL 2802 is that you can install it on smaller areas of the pitch but still raise the quality as a whole over the entire pitch.
Integrated CL 2802 is delivered as finished grass on a roll. The peat thickness is about 35 mm and the width of the roll is 72 cm.

Target area
The goal area is the most exposed area of the pitch which often results in a pit or soil surface. The compaction from the goalkeeper means that water is easily left behind after the rain.
The CL 2802 with its strong backing distributes the load from the goalkeeper and players so compaction is minimized. The straw height together with the hole size (20mm) is designed in a way that you can put the surface into use after 5 days.
The heating zone
The replacements often heat up on the same surface. If it is a grass surface, it is quickly worn down to a poorer grass surface or, in the worst case, to a sticky earth surface.
Line judge
Linesmen have a very important role in today’s football. In a few tenths of a second, they must assess whether the player is on or offside. If the surface the referee is running on is natural grass or a firm green hybrid surface, the referee does not have to think about it. A slippery or earthy surface may mean that the linesman is not in the right place to make his decision.
Club football pitches and various surfaces

The advantage of CL 2802 is that it can be installed both on the seedbed and existing lawn. If you have good growth and no problems with water collections on the pitch, we use it and install CL 2802 directly on the surface. If you have any of the aforementioned problems, we will need to inspect the pitch and come up with appropriate measures before installation. The basic rule for CL 2802 is that we always want to preserve as much growing power in the pitch as possible.
With the help of CL 2802 you get a stable pitch with high playing quality throughout the season that can be used up to 35 hours per week.
Machinery used for maintenance on the pitch often causes worn tracks and damaged grass surfaces. By laying hybrid grass at machine entrances and similar areas, you can keep these areas green and well-maintained all year round. If you have a kiosk in the area that is connected to grass, it can be a good option to lay hybrid grass on the surface when there are a lot of people moving around. For both these areas and similar, NRT 3002 or Euro Hybrid is most suitable as it is our most durable hybrid grass.
