Golf tees are subjected to tremendous stress on a daily basis and require hard work from greenkeepers to provide the best possible playing surface. ÅhusTurf Hybrid grass offers a consistently firm surface that can withstand more wear and tear without a lot of turf build-up. As a player, you do not see the hybrid grass but hit the shot as usual. The area around the tee, such as the path up to the tee or the path from the tee to the fairway, also lives a vulnerable life where hybrid grass can be a solution.

CL 1201 is designed to play golf from. With CL 1201 integrated into the tee surface, it is possible to reduce the tee size as the surface repairs itself faster than without hybrid grass. The tee size is dimensioned according to how often you move your tee markers.

Hybrid grass for bunker

The bunker is a vulnerable spot on the golf course. Problems usually encountered with bunkers:

Getting in and out of the bunker as a player or course worker causes wear and tear and settling on the bunker edge.
The sun dries out the front bunker edge and is hard to keep green
Stones that migrate from the soil into the sand.
Dehydrated sand that flies or wet sand.
During heavy rain, gutters form and the sand slides down to the bottom of the bunker.

Solutions

The CL 1201 protects when the bunker is entered by players and course workers. The CL 1201 also protects you if you have a problem with balls getting stuck in the bunker edge.
NRT 3002 protects the bunker edge against drought and sunshine.
BLB 2001 prevents stones in the sand and the creation of gutters after rain. Playable without sand.

Pedestrian areas and roads with Hybrid Grass

ÅhusTurf Hybrid grass on paths or roads gives the golf course a naturally green playable surface all year round. Instead of having a hard trampled surface, a boring gravel path or having your existing path eat into the fairway, hybrid turf creates a green, clean and pleasant playable surface all year round.

CL 1201 is used when the walkway is part of the playing surface and any stroke can occur that is over 50 m.

NRT 3002 / Euro Hybrid for all walks and all traffic. The hybrid is rigid so players won’t slip on sloping paths in wet weather.

The wet season does not affect the hybrids and they remain green during that period.

Hybrid grass for greens and practice areas

The green and the surrounding area are often rated by the players. ÅhusTurf Dressmatta is made of NRT 3002. With its construction of straight and curled straws, the mat is very gentle on the green grass.

De-icing breaks up the water droplets and prevents re-icing.
When dressing, the mat distributes the sand evenly over the surface.

The practice field is subject to very heavy wear and tear. With the CL 1201 you can create zones where players can train.

The putting green is sometimes also used as a chip green, but it is mainly the many players around the green that tear up the grass. CL 1201 can be laid out as small chip areas where players can chip from.
